Vanlifezone introductions - we want to share your van video

What we're creating
At Vanlifezone, vanlife and overland adventure stories from around the world are our centerpiece. As we’re slowly growing, we want to launch an exciting new video series, aimed at telling your stories. Our goal is to showcase the diverse and inspiring ways people are living and traveling in their campervans and what they encounter on the road. Think of it as a combination of a van-tour, an interview with yourself and of an adventure report. YOU, YOUR story and YOUR van should be the primary focus of your introduction video.

As the many articles in our magazine and journal show, each story has a unique twist that can fascinate, inspire, or offer valuable insights to others who might embark on a similar journey or simply enjoy hearing about adventures. Your voice matters and we want to give you the opportunity to reach a wider audience.
Expand your reach
Our Instagram account and website are regularly visited by thousands of vanlife enthusiasts, and we would love to help you tell your story! Our clear credit information, which always link to the Instagram profile and/or website of the author, can boost your own social media engagement and leverage your visibility on the web.
The video will be published on YouTube, Instagram, our other social media channels, and our website. It will receive a dedicated article page, that is integrated into our journal gallery and into our map.

Our video series is more than just a showcase – it’s a celebration of the vanlife lifestyle and the people who make it extraordinary. We’re the ones who oppose the mundane and seek adventure and the thrill of the unknown. By participating in the Vanlifezone Introductions series, you’re not only becoming a visible part of the Vanlifezone project but also joining an incredible community of camping enthusiasts from all around the world.
What we need from you
1. Create Create a short video between 4-10 minutes in length. If you’re doing a voice-over, record it in a quiet place after filming the video. Please do not include music, as we need to comply with copyright laws. If you want to include specific sound design or music, feel free to send us a second version of the video and let us know who the artists behind each track are and where you got the music from. We’ll try to incorporate these tracks, but we cannot promise anything.
Shoot in an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a minimum resolution of 1080.
2. Introduce yourself Start by telling our audience who you are, where you’re from, and where you’re currently traveling. Maybe give us a look at your current camping spot.
3. Show us something unique about your van in a quick tour Do you have a favorite feature or a cool setup that you think is a game-changer? What makes you and your van unique? Perhaps you’re traveling with a chameleon, or your van has five wheels — we want to see it!
4. Add your own creativity We want this video to be from you, so include anything else you think our community might find interesting. Do you have a must-see location or an exciting story? What’s your best advice for beginners, or is there something you want to raise awareness about? Your voice matters! (Just be sure to be respectful of others!)
5. Submit your video Go to vanlifezone.com/submit and submit your video just like you would submit an article. Fill out all the background information and press submit. We’ll get in touch with you and publish the video in the following weeks!
